About this project
Bloodborne Save Editor is an open-source desktop tool built with Tauri (Rust) and React that provides a graphical interface for modifying Bloodborne save files. It eliminates the need for manual hex editing by offering structured editors for virtually every aspect of a save: item quantities and transformations (including cut content), character attributes (stats, blood echoes, insight, gender, origin, voice, position), gems and runes with effect editing, weapon and armor gem slots, boss kill/revive flags, event flags, and lantern spawn points. The application automatically creates backups when opening a file and includes item filters for quick navigation.
To use on PlayStation, users must first decrypt their save (a wiki guide is provided). For the shadPS4 emulator, saves are located in the emulator's user/savedata directory under the appropriate game ID (CUSA00900, CUSA03173, CUSA00207, or CUSA01363). Pre-built releases are available for major operating systems; building from source requires Rust, Node.js, and Tauri system dependencies. The project is licensed under GPL-3.0 and credits the Bloodborne Wiki, community contributors, and tutorial creators for data and research.
