About this project

This repository is a curated, categorized directory of open-source Unity projects hosted on GitHub, listing more than 800 entries. It is a link collection rather than a codebase: each item points to an external repository, usually with a short description and a badge showing the last commit date. The list is organized into a large table of contents and matching sections. The main areas are: - Shader: collections, post effects, outlines, water, low-poly, blur, metaballs, ShaderGraph, wireframe, hatching, hologram, voxel, grass, bloom, portal, dissolve, retro, shadow, jelly, noise, force field, overdraw, shader optimization and more. - Editor Extensions: tools for the scene view, hierarchy, project view, inspector, game view, attributes, editor windows, assets, hot keys, prefabs, project settings, tilemaps, 3D models, colors and general editor utilities. - UI: UI shaders and shader collections, text, layout, scroll, mask, shape, color picker, radar chart, fade, atlas, buttons and UI editor extensions. - Script: easing, mesh generation, message bus, extension methods, character controllers, asset bundles, joysticks, transforms, effects, async/await, touch, gizmos, curves, events, object pooling and utilities. - Mobile: iOS/Android, iOS-only and Android-only resources. - Other: ECS, sprites, static code analysis, cameras, physics, TextMesh Pro, optimization, particles, sound, reverse engineering, tools, Lua, assets, Excel, Git, testing, multiplayer, AI and sample projects. Because entries are grouped by practical game-development concern, the directory can serve as a discovery aid for developers looking for reusable Unity components, effects or reference implementations. Descriptions are brief and largely taken from the linked projects; the repository itself does not evaluate quality, maintenance status or license terms, so users should inspect each linked project before adopting it.
