About this project
ReflexForge is a browser-based reaction and precision training application aimed at players who want structured aim practice rather than a single repetitive drill. The README describes it as a static web bundle that runs entirely client-side, with training data kept in the browser's IndexedDB and no account or cloud sync required.
Training content is organized into several modules: Flick Forge for fast snapshots, Tracking Foundry for smooth pursuit of moving targets, Decision Cast for engage/ignore decisions under time pressure, and Spatial Anvil for peripheral vision and target prioritization. An adaptive "Difficulty Lattice" adjusts target size, spawn cadence and movement patterns based on live performance.
Analytics include reaction latency, accuracy consistency, a cognitive fatigue indicator and precision heatmaps, presented in interactive graphs with historical review. The interface is responsive and supports touch input, and the README states native localization for twelve languages with automatic browser detection.
Technically, the project uses a canvas-based render loop with a fixed-timestep update, an observable state store, spatial partitioning for hit detection and a predictive path algorithm for fast clicks. It is packaged as a single minified index.html with inlined assets, reported under 250KB gzipped, and can be opened directly or served from any static file server. A GitHub Pages deployment is mentioned.
The README also outlines a 2026 roadmap including multiplayer duels, voice command mode, esports league integration and a visual scenario editor, plus contribution guidelines, support channels and an MIT license with a disclaimer that the tool is not a medical device and does not guarantee competitive improvement.
