The HaloPSA MCP Server is a specialized bridge that allows AI models (such as Claude) to interact with the HaloPSA platform. It features a unique hierarchical tool-loading architecture designed to reduce cognitive load for the AI by only exposing relevant tools based on the current domain (e.g., tickets, clients, assets, agents, or invoices). Key features include: - Hierarchical Navigation: Uses a navigation-based approach where users select a domain, and the server dynamically exposes domain-specific tools, improving performance and organization. - Interactive UI: Supports interactive ticket cards in compatible MCP hosts, allowing for in-card actions like adding notes. - Comprehensive Domain Support: Includes tools for listing, searching, creating, and updating tickets, clients, assets, and invoices, as well as viewing agent and team information. - Flexible Deployment: Supports standalone execution via npx, Docker containers, and cloud-native deployments on platforms like DigitalOcean and Cloudflare Workers. - Built-in Throttling: Integrates with the underlying HaloPSA client to respect API rate limits (500 requests per 3-minute window) automatically. - Brandable Interface: Allows for customization of the UI appearance (colors, logos) via environment variables without requiring a rebuild.
