About this project
MoneyPrinterTurbo is an open-source, all-in-one AI short video generation tool built on Python 3.11+, supporting Windows, macOS, and Linux. Users only need to provide a video theme or keyword, and the tool automatically handles script generation, footage matching, voiceover, subtitles, background music, and final editing to produce platform-optimized HD videos.
The project offers four usage methods: WebUI, API, CLI, and AI Agent Skill, enabling both quick adoption and integration into automated workflows. It supports batch video generation, task history tracking, and import/export/recovery of generation settings and API Keys. Deployment options include Docker Compose, Windows one-click startup package, uv, or manual setup, with Google Colab online demo available.
Script generation supports model services including Kimi, OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, Qwen, Azure OpenAI, Volcano Engine Ark, xAI Grok, MiniMax, and Xiaomi MiMo, while being compatible with unified gateways like OpenRouter, Ollama, OneAPI, and LiteLLM. Video footage can be sourced from local uploads or online libraries such as Pexels, Pixabay, and Coverr, with text-to-video capabilities via MiniMax H3, Volcano Engine Seedance, WaveSpeed, and Ofox, plus OpenAI-compatible text-to-image converted to dynamic videos.
Voiceover options include Edge TTS, Azure Speech, SiliconFlow, Gemini TTS, ElevenLabs, Chatterbox, Kokoro, and Fish Audio (with no-voiceover option). Subtitles are auto-generated with customizable font, position, color, size, outline, and background. Background music supports random selection, local files, or AI generation. Final videos support 9:16 vertical, 16:9 horizontal, and 1:1 square formats with one-click publishing to TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts.
Local deployment doesn't require GPU, though dedicated graphics cards with VRAM significantly accelerate processing when using faster-whisper or heavier local pipelines. Modest CPU/memory requirements make it suitable for content creators, self-media operators, and teams automating short video production workflows.
