AI Hedge Fund is an educational, proof-of-concept terminal application simulating an AI-powered hedge fund. Users build simulated funds by selecting stocks, strategies, rebalancing cadences, or backtesting them against historical benchmarks. The system leverages financial data APIs for stock prices, fundamentals, and earnings, and utilizes LLM providers (including OpenAI, Anthropic, DeepSeek, Google, xAI, and Kimi) to power its decision-making alpha models. Users can run the tool interactively via a terminal UI or execute non-interactive backtests and single-cycle runs using YAML- based mandate files.
