AI Hedge Fund is an educational, proof-of-concept terminal application that simulates an AI-powered hedge fund. It allows users to build a simulated fund by selecting stocks, strategies, and rebalancing cadences, or backtesting them against historical benchmarks. The system leverages financial data APIs for stock prices, fundamentals, and earnings, and utilizes LLM providers (including OpenAI, Anthropic, DeepSeek, Google, xAI, and Kimi) to power its decision-making alpha models. Users can run the tool interactively via a terminal UI or execute non-interactive backtests and single-cycle runs using YAML- based mandate files.
