Pro Workflow is an open-source (MIT) plugin that layers persistent memory, knowledge management, and workflow orchestration on top of existing AI coding agents. It targets Claude Code natively and extends to Cursor, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, Windsurf, OpenCode, Kiro, Goose, Roo, and 27 other agents through the `skills add` installer. Core capabilities: - Self-correction memory: every user correction is captured as a rule in a SQLite database with an FTS5 full-text index. Rules auto-load on session start, so mistakes are not repeated across sessions. A `/learn-rule` command captures corrections; `/wrap-up` persists end-of-session learnings. - Knowledge plane (v3.3): persistent research wikis stored as markdown on disk with a shadow FTS5 index. Wikis support nine flavors (research, paper, domain, product, person, organization, project, codebase, incident). A budget-capped BFS auto-research loop can grow wikis overnight from web, arXiv, and GitHub sources. Hybrid retrieval combines BM25 with optional vector embeddings (OpenAI or Voyage) via Reciprocal Rank Fusion. A multi-provider LLM council (Anthropic, OpenAI, OpenRouter, Fireworks) runs three-phase deliberation on high-stakes decisions, persisting transcripts as wiki pages. - Quality gates: LLM-powered pre-commit and secret-scan hooks, deterministic git blast-radius guards, compaction-aware state preservation, cost tracking with budget alerts, and MCP overhead auditing. Structure: 41 skills, 8 agents (planner, reviewer, scout, orchestrator, debugger, context-engineer, permission-analyst, cost-analyst), 23 slash commands, and 33 hook scripts spanning 22 lifecycle events (SessionStart, UserPromptSubmit, PreToolUse, PreCompact, FileChanged, and others). Key workflow patterns include multi-phase development (Research → Plan → Implement → Review with validation gates), parallel git worktree orchestration for large changes, context-engineering (Write/Select/Compress/Isolate framework), agent teams with shared task lists, and batch orchestration. Storage lives under ~/.pro-workflow/: a single SQLite data.db holding learnings, sessions, wiki registries, and embeddings; global wiki directories; council transcripts; and a STOP kill-switch file for halting all auto-loops. Project-scope wikis can be committed to a repo's .claude/wikis/ directory. Installation: native Claude Code plugin marketplace (`/plugin install pro-workflow@pro-workflow`), or cross-agent via `npx skills add rohitg00/pro-workflow`. A manual clone-and-copy path is also documented for arbitrary agent setups. Post-install, `/doctor` verifies the SQLite store, hooks, and skills load correctly. Configuration accepts settings.json for permissions, sandbox rules, auto-compaction, and output style; optional MCP servers (context7, Playwright, GitHub); and environment variables for embedding providers, council LLM backends, and research-loop budgets.
