About this project
TangleClaw is an AI coding session orchestrator for macOS that keeps AI-assisted development sessions alive across network drops, device switches, and reconnections. It wraps sessions from Claude Code, Codex, Antigravity (Google's Gemini CLI), Aider, and remote OpenClaw instances inside persistent tmux processes.
Core capabilities include structured session wraps that auto-generate summaries, project changelogs, and resume primes so the next session picks up where the last left off. Full transcripts are snapshotted and searchable from a per-project Session History drawer with filters for date, tags, type, and touched files.
The tool provides a browser-based dashboard with a mobile-installable PWA, a persistent fleet-aware Project Master assistant, and a Session Switchboard (Medusa) for direct inter-session agent messaging with delivery ledgers and wake monitors.
Security features include a Caddy ingress with TLS and password gating, service tokens for machine-to-machine API access, user attribution on sessions, and a forced first-account setup. Recovery codes prevent lockout.
Additional features: engine-native config generation (CLAUDE.md, .codex.yaml, AGENTS.md, .aider.conf.yml), per-project orchestration profiles binding to OpenAI-compatible endpoints, PortHub for central port management, project groups with shared docs, Project Map and Feature Index, session rules with AI-proposed improvements and operator approval, Prawduct governance delegation, file upload with flag-only secret scanning, and a full REST API.
Built with Node.js 22+ stdlib only, zero npm dependencies, no build step, SQLite storage, and a comprehensive test suite.
