About this project

Subtitle Master is a browser-based subtitle format conversion tool that supports arbitrary bidirectional conversion between eight common formats, including SRT, WebVTT, ASS, SSA, LRC, JSON, CSV, and TXT. All processing is completed locally without the need to upload to a server, ensuring data privacy and security. It provides drag-and-drop uploading, intelligent encoding detection, timeline fine-tuning, ASS style customization, a three-in-one preview mode (source code/table/screen simulation), and batch conversion of multiple files with ZIP packaging for download. The interface is optimized for both desktop and mobile for intuitive and smooth operation, and includes built-in celebration animations to enhance the user experience. The project utilizes a static frontend architecture that can be deployed directly to platforms like GitHub Pages without requiring a backend or compilation process. It is suitable for video creators, translators, and general users to quickly handle subtitle needs.
