databuddy

Databuddy is an open‑source analytics and data‑management platform that puts privacy at its core. It provides a real‑time analytics dashboard, user behavior tracking, goal and conversion analytics, funnel and cohort analysis (planned), and API access for custom integrations. The platform is built with Next.js 16, TypeScript 5, React 19, Tailwind CSS, Turborepo and runs on Bun.\n\nKey features include:\n- Real‑time dashboards and updates\n- Multi‑tenant architecture\n- Secure authentication and data encryption\n- GDPR and other major privacy‑law compliance\n- Export capabilities and custom metrics (future)\n- A/B testing, cohort analysis and advanced visualizations (roadmap)\n\nSelf‑hosting is supported via Docker Compose. Two compose files are provided: `docker-compose.yaml` for local development (Postgres, ClickHouse, Redis) and `docker-compose.selfhost.yml` for production deployments using pre‑built images from GHCR. The quick‑start guide walks users through environment configuration, database initialization, and service launch.\n\nThe project follows an AGPL‑3.0 license, includes CI for coverage, security scanning and dependency checks, and encourages community contributions through detailed CONTRIBUTING and SECURITY guides.
