Context7 is an MCP server and CLI that fetches up-to-date, version-specific documentation and code examples from libraries directly into LLM prompts, reducing hallucinations and outdated API suggestions for AI coding assistants. Context7 includes a reporting mechanism for problematic content and notes that the API backend, parsing engine, and crawling engine behind the service are private components not included in the public repository.
