Traks provides a comprehensive web analytics solution that prioritizes user privacy and data sovereignty. By utilizing a daily-rotating hash for visitor identification instead of persistent cookies or fingerprinting, the platform ensures that no personally identifiable information is stored. The architecture features a hybrid data path, with real-time data being served through high-performance Durable Objects and historical data being stored in the Apache Iceberg-compatible R2 storage, allowing for efficient querying via R2 SQL. The system includes a WebSocket-driven dashboard for live monitoring and integrates with AI agents through MCP/WebMCP tools, all while remaining self-contained and cost-effective.
