Posting is an HTTP API client designed for the terminal, providing a keyboard-centric alternative to graphical tools like Postman and Insomnia. It stores requests as simple YAML files, making them easy to read and version control. The client includes a jump mode for navigation, customizable keybindings, and syntax highlighting powered by tree-sitter. It supports environments and variables for parameterizing requests, as well as user-defined themes and Python hooks for pre- and post-request processing. Posting can import cURL commands, Postman collections, and OpenAPI specs, and exports requests as cURL commands. It is installed via uv and built on the Textual framework.
