About this project

Auto-Editor is a command line application for automatically editing video and audio by analyzing a variety of methods, most notably audio loudness. Before doing the real editing, users typically cut out 'dead space' or silence, which is a tedious first-pass task, especially for long videos. Key features include: - Automatic cutting based on audio thresholds and motion detection. - Flexible margin and padding options to adjust the pace of cuts. - Advanced labeling system to handle complex edit rules and speeds. - Export capabilities to major video editors such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, ShotCut, and Kdenlive. - Support for exporting individual media clip sequences.
