About this project

Codex Mobile Console is an independent, personal self-hosted release candidate that lets users view and continue existing Codex tasks on a Mac through a mobile browser (or messaging apps such as WeChat, Feishu, Telegram, etc.). It does not rely on the official client; instead, it communicates with the local Codex desktop app through the cc-connect component installed with the project. Main features include: - Find sessions by most recent send/reply, with the homepage showing status refresh progress. - Support image previews within replies, image retry, and results refresh. - Preserve drafts, reading position, and expanded state for the current tab. - Failed rounds that have ended can be manually continued and sent, while desktop confirmation restrictions are still retained. - Search by task name, webpage short name, or project, and also filter by desktop project grouping. - After connecting to an idle session, set the model and reasoning effort for the next round. - View the account's remaining quota, as well as login management (view records, log out individually). Scope of use: suitable for personal self-deployment by Mac users, with each installation bound to one owner. The Mac must be online and kept awake, and the Codex desktop client must be open. Public internet access from a phone requires your own server and domain, or integration with an existing HTTPS service. Currently it only manages Codex sessions, does not support continuing original ChatGPT chats, and does not provide multi-user registration or sharing. The project provides installation instructions, usage instructions (including screenshots), technical documentation, signature verification, privacy notes, and third-party licenses. It uses the MIT License, is a third-party tool, and is not an official OpenAI product.
