About this project
Awesome OpenClaw Skills is a curated collection of community-built skills for OpenClaw, a locally-running AI assistant that operates directly on your machine. Skills extend the assistant's capabilities, allowing it to interact with external services, automate workflows, and perform specialized tasks. The collection is sourced from ClawHub, OpenClaw's public skills registry.
The list filters out spam, duplicates, low-quality entries, crypto/blockchain-related skills, and malicious skills identified by security audits, excluding over 7,200 entries from the official registry. The remaining 5,300+ skills are organized into categories including Git & GitHub, Coding Agents & IDEs, Browser & Automation, Web & Frontend Development, DevOps & Cloud, Image & Video Generation, Apple Apps & Services, Search & Research, CLI Utilities, Health & Fitness, Marketing & Sales, Productivity & Tasks, Data & Analytics, Calendar & Scheduling, Media & Streaming, Notes & PKM, iOS & macOS Development, Transportation, Personal Development, Communication, Speech & Transcription, Smart Home & IoT, Shopping & E-commerce, PDF & Documents, Self-Hosted & Automation, Security & Passwords, Moltbook, and Gaming.
Skills can be installed via the OpenClaw CLI (`openclaw skills install <skill-slug>`), the ClawHub CLI (`npx clawhub install <skill-slug>`), or manually by copying skill folders to `~/.openclaw/skills/` (global) or `<project>/skills/` (workspace). Users can also paste a skill's GitHub repository link directly into the assistant's chat for automatic setup.
The README includes a security notice that skills are curated but not audited, and may be updated or modified by their maintainers at any time. OpenClaw has a VirusTotal partnership providing security scanning for skills, and additional tools like Snyk Skill Security Scanner and Agent Trust Hub are recommended for reviewing potential security risks including prompt injections, tool poisoning, and hidden malware payloads.
The list only accepts skills already published on ClawHub and does not accept links to personal repos, gists, or other external sources.
