Georgia-ReBORN is a feature-rich theme for the foobar2000 desktop music player, developed from Mordred's original Georgia theme. Its stated purpose is a clean, distraction-free desktop layout where cover artwork and the playlist are the main focus. Appearance and theming - Ships with 12 themes plus additional styles; styles can be combined per column via the context menu. - The special "Reborn" theme derives its colors from the currently playing album art, so the player's look changes with each album. - 88 predefined theme presets, including a harmonic select mode that picks a preset based on the current album art. - Users can create up to 10 custom themes and share them; custom theme fonts are supported. - Automatic day and night mode, three seekbars with styles, and 13 disc art placeholders. Layout and display - Three layouts: Default, Artwork and Compact, each fully configurable, with normal or full-width panel layouts. - Predefined player sizes for 4K, QHD and HD, with automatic resolution detection and DPI/screen-size scaling; fullscreen is supported. Minimum size limits prevent button and text overlap. - The theme starts in 'Small' player size as a failsafe for small screens. Library, biography and lyrics - Integrates a modified version of WilB's library and biography script, with 8 built-in designs plus a default Georgia-ReBORN design. - Library supports tree view and album art view, switching between albums and artists, and dynamic thumbnail resizing with player size. - Biography offers 4 layouts; an automatic lyric fetcher highlights synced lyrics in a theme color while unsynced lyrics use default white text. - Artist photos require linking a biography cache path in foobar2000 preferences. Optional extras - Optional image packs provide artist logos and record labels shown in 'Details'; disc art can be fetched from fanart.tv or replaced with placeholders. - Template resources are published for making custom disc art and graphics. Installation - Install foobar2000 as portable, extract the profile folder from the zip into foobar's root folder, install the bundled fonts, then start foobar. - A standard (non-portable) installation path is also documented, extracting profile contents into the AppData\Roaming\foobar2000 folder. - As of 2 September 2025 the project is transitioning to focus on 64-bit foobar2000; releases on the Releases page are compatible only with 32-bit, while the latest x64 build is available from the master branch. Support and contribution - Support is handled through GitHub Discussions and a HydrogenAudio thread; bugs can be reported via a dedicated discussion thread. - The project welcomes help from developers with JavaScript knowledge to optimize the theme, and credits numerous upstream components and contributors.
