About this project

Trilemma Data is an open-source catalog that helps developers find actively maintained, authoritative datasets to test whether they can power focused microproducts. Built with Next.js, TypeScript, and deployed via Vercel, the application stores metadata and links to original sources rather than redistributing dataset files. The catalog features searchable metadata, authoritative source links, access instructions, copyable Python examples, and project signals. The core experience includes curated build paths, maintainer registries, and validated YAML schemas. The application uses a static export approach and includes automated validation for dataset policies, Python syntax, and maintainer integrity.
