OmniGet is a free, open-source desktop application for Windows, macOS, and Linux that combines a download manager with a broad media and study toolbox. Users can paste links from Udemy, Hotmart, Kiwify, YouTube, Instagram, X/Twitter, Pinterest, TikTok, Reddit, Twitch, Bilibili, Telegram, and many other sites, then choose quality options and download without using a terminal. The project relies on yt-dlp and FFmpeg, which can be installed and updated from within the app, and also includes native extractors plus gallery-dl support for image collections. Beyond basic downloading, OmniGet provides a downloads queue with speed, phase, ETA, resume support, retry behavior, per-site rules, and automatic channel monitoring. It supports torrents and magnet links through a built-in BitTorrent client, direct HTTP files, HLS/DASH manifests, and local transfer between OmniGet installs.
