About this project
nunuStudio is an open-source game engine designed for the web, enabling designers and developers to create 3D experiences easily. It is powered by three.js for rendering and cannon.js for physics, and can run directly in browsers or be exported as desktop applications via NW.js. The engine features a fully-featured visual editor with drag-and-drop asset management, tools for editing textures, materials, particle emitters, and a powerful scripting API supporting both JavaScript and Python. It supports a wide range of file formats including gltf, dae, obj, fbx, and 3ds, and is compatible with WebXR for virtual and augmented reality applications. The project includes a web-based editor available at nunustudio.org, with API documentation and tutorials. Build instructions require Node.js and npm, using Webpack for bundling and YuiDocs for documentation. Applications can be embedded into existing web pages or frameworks like Angular, React, and Vue.js/Nuxt. The project is distributed under the MIT license, allowing free commercial use.
