About this project
TeamAI is a command-line tool designed to make every team AI-native by managing and distributing team-specific resources—such as skills, rules, documentation, environment variables, hooks, MCP servers, and agents—across multiple AI coding assistants including Claude Code, Codex, GitHub Copilot CLI, CodeBuddy, WorkBuddy, OpenCode, Cursor, Oh My Pi, and others. It operates through a shared Git repository, allowing administrators to push updates that team members automatically pull into their local AI tools, ensuring everyone works with the same team context and standards.
The tool offers three core layers: Team Execution (init, pull, push, skills, rules, agents, hooks, MCP, env), Team Context (beta) for knowledge recall and codebase graphs, and Team Improvement (beta) for usage analytics and session sharing. Key features include automatic experience sharing via friction-based session scoring, a recall subagent for searching team knowledge, a codebase knowledge graph built with tree-sitter AST parsing, and a dashboard for monitoring team usage and knowledge health. Commands cover initialization, resource management, knowledge import, codebase extraction, and maintenance tasks. The project is MIT-licensed and supports multiple Git providers, with a focus on simplifying team collaboration in AI-assisted development.
