BrowserSkill is a local bridge that lets shell-capable AI agents (Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, OpenClaw, CodeBuddy, WorkBuddy, Pi, Hermes Agent, DeepSeek Harness, and others) operate your already logged-in browser through the `bsk` CLI and a browser extension. Agents borrow specific tabs explicitly and return them when done, while browser tasks run in a separate visible Agent Window so your own browsing stays uninterrupted. Key capabilities include reusing real login state without separate test accounts, supporting any agent that can call a shell with no lock-in to a specific model or framework, and built-in human-in-the-loop handling for captchas, logins, and confirmation dialogs. The extension provides independent automation settings for tab borrowing confirmation and help request behavior, both configurable per browser profile. Supported platforms include macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel), Linux (x64 and ARM64), and Windows x64, with Chrome and Microsoft Edge browser support. A DeepSeek Harness plugin is available on npm, providing native `browser_*` tools and a live session view in the Web UI. The repository is a Cargo + pnpm workspace containing the CLI and local daemon, shared protocol types, the browser extension, shared UI and i18n packages (English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, Japanese, French, Italian, Spanish, German, Brazilian Portuguese), the DeepSeek Harness plugin, and deterministic browser capability evaluation tooling.
