TablePro is a fast, native database client designed for developers, available for macOS and iOS/iPadOS. It aims to combine the polish of proprietary tools like TablePlus with the openness of open-source software, offering a multi-database experience without the overhead of Electron or JVM-based clients. Key features include a SQL editor with autocomplete, multi-cursor, Vim mode, and syntax themes; a data grid with inline editing, sorting, filtering, and undo/redo; native window tabs, multi-window support, and split panes; SSH tunnels with password and key authentication, plus SSL/TLS support; query history with full-text search; iCloud sync for connections, groups, tags, settings, and SSH profiles; built-in AI chat, inline suggestions, and Explain/Optimize functionality; an MCP server and URL scheme for integration with tools like Cursor, Raycast, and Claude Desktop; and a plugin system allowing users to write custom database drivers in Swift. The application supports a wide range of databases out of the box, including MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Amazon Redshift, CockroachDB, SQLite, ClickHouse, and Redis. Additional databases like Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, Oracle, DuckDB, Cassandra, and others are available via plugins that can be installed on demand from a plugin registry. TablePro is built natively on each platform, ensuring fast startup times (under 1 second) and low memory usage (around 80 MB idle).
