About this project

Spicetify community themes is a community-driven collection of themes for Spicetify, a command-line tool used to customize the Spotify desktop client. The repository gathers many themes in one place, with a preview of all themes available in THEMES.md. Requirements and notes: themes require the latest version of Spotify and Spicetify; the Dribbblish and Turntable themes have their own installation instructions in their READMEs; and the ad-blocked version of Spotify is not supported. Installation and usage: clone the repository with git (a shallow clone is suggested), copy the files into the Spicetify Themes folder, then select a theme with the spicetify config current_theme command. Some themes offer two or more color schemes, which can be switched with spicetify config color_scheme. Platform-specific copy commands are provided for Linux, macOS and Windows, and Arch Linux users can find the project on the AUR. An _Extra folder contains additional resources for tweaking the look of Spotify, documented in its own README. Contribution guidelines are kept in a separate CONTRIBUTING.md document. For troubleshooting, the project asks users not to open GitHub issues for general support questions; instead, questions about installing, using or modifying themes should go to the subreddit or Discord server. GitHub issues are reserved for bug reports and feature requests. The README also links to related community resources, including a theme that removes free-version UI elements and a dynamic variant of the Dribbblish theme.
