About this project

smbCloud CLI (smb) is a command-line interface and Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for managing smbCloud services. It allows users to send transactional email, configure domains and inbox routing via smbCloud Mail, manage authentication apps through smbCloud Auth, and deploy applications written in Rust, Node.js, Ruby, or Swift using smbCloud Deploy. The tool is distributed as a single Rust binary and is available through multiple package managers including Homebrew, npm, pip, and .NET tools. A key feature is its MCP server capability (smb --mcp), which exposes 31 tools across smbCloud services. This allows AI agents like Claude and Cursor to execute the same operations as the user. It supports a shared authentication token between terminal and agent sessions. The CLI includes a non-interactive mode (--ci) for continuous integration environments, disabling prompts and failing fast on missing input. It also features a specialized XCRS Mobile & TV Automation profile for testing mobile and TV apps, exposing tools for Xcode, ControlKit, CoreDevice, and adb without cluttering the main cloud toolset.
