About this project
GrowApp Cannabis Guide is a mobile cultivation platform built with vanilla JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3. It provides a 2,800+ strain database with search and filtering by type, THC/CBD, and flowering time. The core grow app lets users build a personalized grow through a 3-step builder (strain, nutrients, start date) and generates a 126-row schedule from seedling through harvest. Users can track daily check-ins with environment, water, nutrients, light, and inspection logs, and maintain a photo diary with data overlays. The app includes a plant doctor with 45+ condition detail pages for symptom-based diagnosis, a harvest window tool using on-device TensorFlow.js for trichome analysis, and calculators for lighting, CFM, and grow space sizing. Data is stored locally in IndexedDB (MyGrowDB v8), enabling fully offline use. The repository serves as the live app webview for the iOS, Android, and Amazon native app shells and is not open for external contributions; the public website codebase is maintained in a separate repository. The project is MIT licensed and developed by Loyal9 LLC.
