About this project
Claude Terminal is a third-party terminal management tool specifically created for Claude Code CLI users, aimed at solving common pain points in multi-session management. It binds tabs to sessions, enabling automatic recovery of conversation content after closing; each tab displays real-time status (such as running, waiting for input, completed, or error) for quick identification. It supports grouping sessions by working directory, allowing users to save and reuse multiple workspaces to isolate different project environments. It provides multi-window drag-and-drop functionality to meet multi-screen needs, and history is stored categorized by time, allowing recovery after accidental closure. A desktop floating window remains in the corner with a three-color status count for immediate visibility, and the main window can be recalled via right-click. The panel displays account quotas and context usage in real-time without needing plugins. It supports locking the Claude Code version and disabling automatic updates to avoid interference from upgrades. It does not modify the system shell or cc configuration and is compatible with PowerShell 7 and Windows native pseudo-terminals. Tabs can have notes added, and the interface supports bilingual English/Chinese and light/dark theme switching. The project is open-source, built on Electron and React, and provides both an installed version and a green portable version, with priority support for the Windows platform and manual build availability for macOS.
