AiShort (ChatGPT Shortcut) is an open-source AI prompt management tool and searchable prompt library. Its goal is to remove the need to write prompts from scratch: users browse or search a large collection of ready-made prompts and paste them into ChatGPT-style chat pages, coding tools such as Cursor, or their own API calls. Core capabilities described in the README: - A library of 5000+ prompts covering writing, coding, office work, learning, design, marketing and more, described as hand-picked plus community-contributed. - One-click copy: clicking a prompt card places the prompt on the clipboard. - Search and filtering: 26 scenario tags plus keyword search, with a Ctrl/⌘+K shortcut. - 18 languages: full UI and prompt translation, with replies in the user's native language. - No signup, paywall or install required for basic use. Features available after login: - My Collection: drag-and-drop sorting and custom tag classification. - Custom Prompts: create, edit and manage personal prompts. - Community: share prompts, vote and discuss in comments. - Data export: export all prompts as JSON. - Multiple login methods: password, Google, or passwordless email link. - Levels (L0–L9) earned by sharing prompts with the community. Browser extension: available for Chrome, Edge and Firefox, opening a sidebar with Alt+Shift+S so prompts can be accessed while using ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and other sites. A Tampermonkey script (ChatGPT Shortcut Anywhere) provides a similar sidebar on any website. Deployment: the project can be self-hosted via Vercel, Cloudflare Pages, Docker or locally. An Offline Edition is documented for air-gapped enterprise or government networks, requiring no backend or account, storing data locally in the browser while keeping browse, search, collect and custom-prompt features. Contributions are accepted through GitHub issues and pull requests, including prompt suggestions, bug reports, translations and documentation improvements.
