About this project

Win11Debloat is a lightweight PowerShell script, with no installation required, for decluttering and customizing Windows 10/11. It can be run interactively through a menu or automated through a command-line interface. Most changes made by the script can be reverted, and almost all removed apps can be reinstalled through the Microsoft Store. Usage options include a one-line PowerShell download/run command, a manual Run.bat launcher, and a PowerShell advanced method. Administrator rights are required. The script also supports command-line parameters, applying changes to a different Windows user, and Sysprep/Audit mode so new user profiles automatically receive the desired settings. Key features: - Remove a wide variety of preinstalled apps. - Privacy: disable telemetry, diagnostic data, activity history, app-launch tracking, targeted ads, tips and suggestions, location services, and Microsoft 365 ads; optionally hide the Settings Home page. - AI features: disable or remove Microsoft Copilot, Windows Recall, and Click to Do; prevent the WSAIFabricSvc AI service from auto-starting; disable AI features in Edge, Paint, and Notepad. - System tweaks: restore the Windows 10 style context menu, disable mouse acceleration, Sticky Keys shortcut, Storage Sense automatic cleanup, fast startup, BitLocker automatic device encryption, and Modern Standby network drain. - Windows Update controls: defer updates, prevent automatic restarts while signed in, disable Delivery Optimization sharing, and block auto-install of device companion apps. - Appearance: enable dark mode, disable transparency and animations, and control desktop spotlight behaviors. - Start menu and search: remove pinned apps, hide recommendations, disable Phone Link integration, Bing web search, Copilot integration, and Microsoft Store app suggestions. - Taskbar: change alignment, hide or customize search/task view/widgets, enable End Task and Last Active Click behavior, and control app button grouping. - File Explorer: change the default opening location, show file extensions and hidden files, hide Home/Gallery/OneDrive sections, restore common folders under This PC, and adjust drive letter display. - Multitasking: disable window snapping, Snap Assist and Snap Layout suggestions, and configure tab behavior for Alt+Tab. - Optional Windows features: enable Windows Sandbox or Windows Subsystem for Linux. - Other: disable Xbox Game Bar integration and game/screen recording, and debloat Brave browser AI/crypto/news integration.
