About this project

Medusa is a self-hosted application for automatically managing TV show libraries. It monitors configured shows, searches supported Usenet and torrent providers (via indexers like Jackett), sends selected releases to configured download clients (qBittorrent, Transmission, SABnzbd, NZBGet, etc.), and handles post-processing including renaming, sorting, metadata enrichment (NFO, posters, fanart), subtitle downloading, and library updates for Plex, Kodi, and Emby. Key capabilities: - Automatic scheduled and manual searches with quality profiles, proper/repack handling, and season-pack support - Multiple metadata indexers: TVDB v2, TVmaze, TMDB, IMDb, with AniDB/Trakt/AniList integration for anime - Flexible post-processing: copy, move, hardlink, symlink; custom scripts; cleanup of associated files - Subtitle automation with manual fallback and optional delay until subtitles are available - Notifications via Discord, Slack, Telegram, email, Pushover, Pushbullet, Trakt, and more - Docker images for linux/amd64, linux/arm/v7, linux/arm64; source installation on Python 3.9+ - Web UI on port 8081 with per-show configuration, bulk episode management, and quality preview Medusa requires external providers and download clients; it does not host or provide media content.
