About this project

Pydantic Logfire is an observability platform and SDK designed to simplify application monitoring, tracing, and logging. Built by the creators of Pydantic, it acts as an opinionated wrapper around OpenTelemetry, supporting traces, metrics, and logs. It provides deep integration with Pydantic models to analyze validation data, offers Python-centric insights (including event-loop telemetry and profiling), and allows querying telemetry data using standard SQL. While the SDK is open-source and can export to any OTel-compatible backend, it also integrates with Logfire's hosted or enterprise self-hosted platform.
