NextClaw provides a desktop application for macOS, Windows, and Linux, as well as npm and Docker installation options. It includes a built-in free‑trial model gateway and supports connecting to various OpenAI‑compatible providers such as OpenRouter, OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, DeepSeek, MiniMax, Moonshot, DashScope, Zhipu, AiHubMix, and vLLM. Users can run agents with different runtimes (Native, Codex, Claude Code, OpenCode, Hermes) while preserving workspace, memory, and skills. Core capabilities include research and comparison, data analysis and visualization, document drafting, local file inspection and processing, building small personal tools, and scheduling recurring work. The platform integrates messaging channels like WeChat, Feishu/Lark, QQ, DingTalk, WeCom, Telegram, Discord, Slack, WhatsApp, and email, and offers features such as dedicated agents, image generation, skill installation with documentation, model provider configuration, and a CLI for scripting and CI usage. All data, configurations, and credentials remain under the user's control.
