Passbolt is an open-source password manager tailored for organizational use. It focuses on a security-first approach, utilizing user-owned secret keys and end-to-end encryption to ensure that credentials remain private. The platform allows teams to securely share and audit credentials through a set of dependable policies. Key features include: - Security: End-to-end encryption and regular public security audits. - Privacy: Headquartered in the EU, the software does not collect personal data or telemetry and supports deployment in air-gapped environments. - Collaboration: Tools for sharing and auditing secrets across a team. Passbolt can be deployed natively on various operating systems (including Ubuntu, Debian, RedHat, Fedora, and others), via Docker, or on Kubernetes. It provides a wide range of clients for accessibility, including browser extensions for Chrome, Firefox, and Edge, as well as mobile applications for iOS and Android. A CLI tool is also available for power users.
