Wisdom Cascade Platform is an open-source system designed to facilitate structured knowledge transfer between junior developers and experienced mentors. It operates as a decentralized relay network where questions are submitted, enriched with contextual information, and answered through a combination of AI assistance and human expertise. The platform consists of three core layers: a Question Intake Layer that accepts text, code snippets, error logs, and image attachments with OCR support; a Context Enrichment Engine that uses OpenRouter API for AI-assisted context enhancement and model routing; and a Mentor Response Aggregator that returns structured guidance in multiple formats including step-by-step walkthroughs, code diffs, and ASCII architecture diagrams. Key features include multilingual query support for 18+ languages, a knowledge graph visualization system that connects answered questions by topic and code patterns, attachment intelligence with OCR preprocessing, and a responsive UI that adapts across mobile and desktop devices. The platform stores interactions in a searchable vector database, creating a living knowledge base from real engineering challenges. Security measures include TLS 1.3 encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, automatic anonymization after 90 days, and a zero-retention policy for raw API responses. The project is released under the MIT License and requires Python 3.10+ or Node.js 18+ with an OpenRouter API key for setup.
