About this project

TelegramCode is a self-hosted Telegram bot that lets you run OpenCode and Claude Code coding agents from your phone or tablet. Each Telegram forum topic or DM thread acts like a terminal tab bound to a project folder, and multiple topics can share one folder for parallel work. Key capabilities include: - Agent backends for OpenCode (HTTP+SSE server API) and Claude Code (tmux-scrape or json-stream modes) - A raw terminal mode that binds a topic to a real shell in the project folder - Voice input via Groq or OpenAI Whisper transcription - Scheduled and self-driving runs using cron, one-shot, or N-times jobs, with restart-safe timers and catch-up for missed runs - File intake and output: photos, documents, video, and audio sent to a topic are passed to the agent; the agent can send files back - Per-topic display verbosity, thinking/tool-result/subagent visibility controls, timezone and timestamp settings - Session persistence and resume, context compaction, and automatic waiting out of usage limits - Management commands for binding folders, switching models, connecting providers, listing sessions, and diagnostics The bot runs on your own machine or a remote server, requires no open ports, and stores state in a local JSON file. It can be installed via npm, run with Docker, or built from source. Setup involves creating a Telegram bot, optionally configuring a forum supergroup or owner DM, and launching the CLI from a parent projects folder.
