About this project

ServerPulse is a plugin for IW4MAdmin that turns standard game server events into an analytics dashboard. It covers traffic and retention analysis, rotation and map performance, busy times and session exits, player audience regions, community voice monitoring from chat, player guidance signals, and data health checks. Key capabilities: - Traffic and retention analytics showing which servers attract players and bring them back. - Rotation performance tracking to identify which map and mode combinations gain or lose population. - Busy time analysis to determine when to schedule events and why sessions end. - Privacy-safe regional and join-time demand insights for player audiences. - Community Voice feature matching chat complaints, requests, and praise with short redacted excerpts. Raw chat is not stored by default. - Player Guidance indicating whether chat accusations can become proper reports and who is repeatedly mentioned. - Evidence-backed recommendations with confidence levels and sample sizes for controlled tests, not automatic configuration changes. - Data health monitoring for collection, storage, and live telemetry. Privacy defaults include no IP addresses in analytics, pseudonymized player identities, hidden small country samples, disabled raw chat, and redacted chat excerpts. Player Guidance is opt-in and never auto-punishes. Installation requires downloading ServerPulse.dll into IW4MAdmin/Plugins, restarting to generate configuration, reviewing ServerPulse.json, then accessing the Admin → ServerPulse dashboard. A companion plugin, DemosToDiscord, provides match demo capture and a staff case-review workflow for resolving ambiguous Player Guidance signals through human review. ServerPulse v1.1.1 targets .NET 10 and the current IW4MAdmin plugin lifecycle. Licensed under the MIT License. Documentation and configuration examples are available on the project wiki and repository.
