About this project
Anakrisis is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server designed for ethics‑aware open‑source intelligence (OSINT) investigations. It provides deterministic planning, classification, and risk evaluation based on local YAML doctrine. The server offers nine tools—MissionBrief, CourseCorrection, RulesOfEngagement, CreateCase, TextAnalyzer, GraphBuilder, AssignTools, ReportTemplate, and ReportRedaction—that guide investigators from intake through reporting. It distinguishes passive‑only research personas from active interactions, warns of hard‑stop rules, and scaffolds case workspaces with structured documentation. The server runs in Docker and integrates with any MCP‑compatible client (Claude desktop, Cursor, LM Studio, etc.). Users can choose cloud models (Claude, Gemini, GPT) for automated collection or local models (Ollama, LM Studio) for manual collection, keeping all doctrine and risk logic on‑premise. Installation requires Docker and a simple JSON configuration; optional source‑run is supported for development. The repository includes doctrine files, playbooks, report templates, and tests, allowing organizations to customize policies without code changes. Anakrisis emphasizes advisory guidance rather than enforcement, keeping investigators responsible for legal and platform compliance.
