About this project

This project provides two connected browser tools for photographers working with full-spectrum, UV, and infrared cameras. Everything runs client-side in static HTML, with no server, installation, or account required. The first tool, Channel Swap, is a false-colour editing environment. It includes a full 3×3 channel mixer with negative values and live row totals, presets for common IR/UV swaps, pre- and post-swap white balance pickers, and calibration from real colour patches. Colour handling uses OKLab and linear light, with gamut mapping, vibrance based on a 2022 colour appearance model, split toning, tri-tone merge, and defringing. It supports RAW decoding via LibRaw and AMaZE in WebAssembly, including a dedicated Fuji X-Trans demosaic path, and can export 16-bit TIFF, PNG, JPEG, and .cube LUTs. Batch processing and offline installability are included. The second tool, Filter Curves, is a transmission-curve visualizer and stacking calculator for UV/IR/colour glass. It contains 206 filters across 14 groups, with provenance notes for 148 entries. The physics model applies Beer-Lambert thickness scaling, log-scale charts, genuine multiplicative stacking, and camera body selection applied only to combined results. Sourcing includes manufacturer datasheets, independent spectrometer measurements, and community datasets, with explicit notes where public per-wavelength data is unavailable. The project is licensed under AGPL-3.0, with third-party components documented separately.
