About this project
Hyundai E-Commerce is an enterprise-grade e-commerce and B2B Request for Quotation (RFQ) platform designed for high-value industrial power equipment such as three-phase diesel generators, agricultural machinery, industrial water pumps, and emergency backup power solutions. The project is organized as a decoupled, polyrepo-ready architecture with three standalone applications: a NestJS 11 REST API backend using Drizzle ORM, a Next.js 16 customer storefront, and a Next.js 16 backoffice admin portal. The backend owns all database operations with PostgreSQL and Redis, exposes an OpenAPI 3.1 contract with Scalar interactive documentation, and supports type synchronization for the frontend clients. The storefront provides product browsing, shopping cart, and B2B quote submission, while the admin portal handles dashboards, product management, quote approvals, orders, and inventory. Its quotation engine supports multi-tier negotiation states from requested through reviewing, approved, rejected, or expired, with DIN/ISO-style commercial print documents and Excel export. Additional capabilities include warehouse batch stock tracking, PayOS payment integration, high-concurrency order settlement, Docker-based local infrastructure, root orchestration scripts, and GitHub Actions CI/CD with path-filtered deployments to Render and Vercel.
