About this project

Natively is a free, source-available AI assistant designed for meetings, interviews, and lectures. It provides real-time transcription with on-device speech-to-text (Whisper, Apple Speech), dual audio channel capture (system and microphone), and low-latency responses (<500ms). It includes a stealth mode to avoid detection during screen sharing, a Chrome companion for capturing web pages, local RAG memory via SQLite vector search, and support for custom personas/modes. Users can bring their own API keys (BYOK) for models like GPT, Claude, Gemini, or run fully offline with Ollama. The app offers a dashboard for managing meeting history, exports to Markdown/JSON/Text, and is available for macOS and Windows. It is positioned as a free alternative to paid tools like Cluely, Final Round AI, and Interview Coder, emphasizing privacy and local data storage.
