About this project

Anime2Sketch is a sketch extractor designed for anime, illustration, and manga art. It converts colored or complex images into clean line sketches using a deep network based on the paper 'Adversarial Open Domain Adaption for Sketch-to-Photo Synthesis'. The repository provides testing code, pretrained weights (including an artifact-free version for dark/low-contrast images), and supports CPU, GPU, and Docker environments. Users can run simple commands to process single images or directories, with options to resize inputs. The tool also handles hand-drawn photos and freehand sketches, producing simplified linearts. It includes example results and a web demo. The project is MIT-licensed and maintained by Xiaoyu Xiang.
