UPORTAL combines publication management, email tracking, short links, hosted pages, download tracking, and communication analytics into a single self-hosted solution. It centers on the concept of a publication—a controlled communication object that can contain tracked redirects, hosted Markdown pages, downloadable files, and email tracking pixels. Publications can be shared via email, messengers, team chats, social networks, QR codes, or printed materials while remaining under the same access rules and analytics. The platform includes a Thunderbird add-on for inserting publications while composing emails, a web administration UI for creating and managing publications, a lightweight runtime built on nginx and njs that serves content and enforces passwords, freshness windows, click limits, and sticky device access, and an automation layer that can forward publication events to external tools like n8n. All interactions are collected into a unified activity timeline, enabling users to see opens, clicks, page views, downloads, and repeat visits across channels. UPORTAL is MIT‑licensed, supports Docker Compose deployment, and offers commercial services for production‑ready installations, customization, integrations, and support.
