About this project
Power Platform Skills is an official Microsoft repository that distributes agent plugins for Power Platform development. The marketplace works with GitHub Copilot CLI and Claude Code, grouping reusable skills, agents, and commands by Power Platform workload.
An optional Node-based installer can install the PAC CLI when needed, detect supported AI coding tools, register the marketplace, install the plugins, and enable auto-update. Plugins can also be added manually with the marketplace and plugin installation commands, or loaded directly from a cloned repository for local development.
The included plugins cover:
- Power Pages: create and deploy code sites, including single-page applications using React, Angular, Vue, or Astro.
- Model Apps: build model-driven apps and generative pages through skills such as /app-builder and /genpage, using React, TypeScript, Fluent, PAC CLI, and the headless cds-maker-sdk.
- MCP Apps: generate JavaScript MCP tool runtimes, JSON Schema metadata, and single-file HTML widgets, including Dataverse-backed codeful tools.
- Code Apps: build and deploy React, Vite, and TypeScript apps connected through Power Platform connectors.
- Mobile Apps: build mobile code apps with Expo, React Native, TypeScript, and Power Apps Wrap.
- Power Apps Mobile Extension: create third-party native controls for wrapped Canvas apps using Kotlin, Objective-C, PCF, and .ppmplugin bundles.
- Canvas Apps: author .pa.yaml Canvas Apps through the Canvas Authoring MCP server, requiring the .NET 10 SDK.
- Power Automate: create, edit, run, and debug cloud flows through the FlowAgent MCP server, requiring Node.js 18 or later and Azure CLI sign-in.
The repository documents reduced-interruption permission settings for both Copilot and Claude Code, while warning that broad auto-approval grants the agent the user's local access and should be used only in trusted or sandboxed environments.
The marketplace is defined by marketplace.json, with .claude-plugin files retained as compatibility mirrors. Some plugins include telemetry: Power Pages and Mobile Apps telemetry are enabled by default, while Model Apps telemetry is hard-disabled. Users can disable transmission through plugin commands or environment variables, though the documented local diagnostic mirror may still be written. The repository code is licensed under MIT.
