MediaCMS is a modern, fully featured open source video and media content management system (CMS) designed to help you build small to medium video and media portals quickly. It is built using Django/Python, Celery, and React, and includes a comprehensive REST API documented with Swagger. Key features include complete control over your data through self-hosting, support for multiple publishing workflows (public, private, unlisted, custom), role-based access control (RBAC) with categories and groups, automatic transcription via Whisper, and support for various media types (video, audio, image, PDF).
