Privacy-wise, the FOSS version contains no trackers or third-party data collection servers. Users who enable 'Send back to Google' feature allow listening history to be sent to YouTube Music Tracking API for better recommendations. The Full version includes Sentry crash analytics, while the FOSS version does not collect crash data. Desktop support includes Windows (.msix), macOS (.dmg), and Linux (.AppImage) distributions. Some Linux distributions may have stability issues due to upstream JetBrains problems, and ARM64 users on Windows/Linux should use x64 builds. The project follows clean architecture and MVVM patterns, with contributions welcome through issues and pull requests. Translations are managed via Crowdin. The project is sponsored by Crowdin, Sentry, and previously Vercel OSS Program, with testing support from BrowserStack. Legal disclaimer emphasizes the app is strictly non-commercial, acts as a custom browser with content filtering, encourages YouTube Premium subscriptions to support creators, and does not host copyrighted material.
