Secretive is a macOS application that secures SSH keys by utilizing the Mac's Secure Enclave. By storing keys in the Secure Enclave, Secretive ensures that private keys are non-exportable, mitigating the risk of theft by malware or unauthorized users. The application supports strong access controls, enabling users to require Touch ID or Apple Watch authentication for key access. It also features real-time notifications to alert users whenever their keys are accessed. For Macs that lack a Secure Enclave, Secretive provides support for Smart Cards, such as YubiKeys, to handle signing operations.
