About this project

mautrix-gmessages is a puppeting bridge between Matrix and Google Messages. It lets a Matrix user link their Google Messages account so that SMS/RCS conversations appear as Matrix rooms, with messages relayed in both directions. The README is intentionally short and points to external documentation. All setup and usage instructions live on docs.mau.fi, including a bridge setup guide and a Docker-based setup option. Basic usage begins with an authentication step described in the authentication page. A ROADMAP.md file in the repository provides an overview of supported features and planned work.
