About this project

Cuicuit is an early-stage, open-source kitchen companion focused on meal planning rather than ingredient management. Users can import recipes from websites with AI-assisted detail filling, drag recipes into a meal plan, and automatically generate a shopping list that suggests items based on past purchases. It supports shared household spaces for collaboration and is mobile-friendly as a PWA. The project is currently in alpha, with a hosted version available for testing and self-hosted deployment planned. The roadmap includes pantry management, expiration tracking, smart recipe recommendations, barcode scanning, and predictive inventory features. Developers can contribute via a local Supabase-based development setup, and the project exposes REST API and MCP interfaces for integrations.
