About this project

Neko is a self-hosted virtual browser that runs in Docker and streams a desktop environment via WebRTC. It allows multiple users to simultaneously access and control a browser or any Linux application, making it ideal for watch parties, interactive presentations, collaborative browsing, support sessions, and secure personal browsing. It supports various browsers (Firefox, Chromium, Chrome, Edge, Brave, etc.) and applications (VLC, XFCE, KDE). Key features include low-latency video/audio streaming, multi-participant control, persistent or throwaway browser sessions, RTMP broadcasting, and embedding via API. Documentation and room management are available through neko-rooms.
